• Remove all jewelry, makeup, deodorant and perfume.
• Shave or wax 24 hours before your spray tan. 
• Exfoliate before your session, focusing on the driest areas — elbows, knees, hands, feet and the backs of your ankles.
• Don’t use any moisturizers unless they're oil free and specifically formulated for sunless tanning.
• Wear nail polish to protect your nails, even if it's just a clear coat.
• Wear loose fitting dark clothing and flip-flops. 
• Choose a garment you're comfortable tanning in. Your technician may also have disposable undergarments and shower caps you can wear.
• Your technician will help you apply barrier cream to protect rough areas.
• Make sure your last spray tan is fully exfoliated if you've tanned within the last 2-3 weeks.

• Wait 4-6 hours after your spray tan has been applied before showering.
• Try not to get caught in the rain following your appointment.
• Avoid washing your hands and feet for 2 hours following your treatment.
• Try not to get hot and sweaty. No gym until after you have showered.
• Wear loose, baggy clothing to ensure the tan can develop freely. 
• No mani/pedis while you're developing. Polish changes are fine.  
• Once you have showered, you will notice the bronzer washing off.
• The tan will continue to develop over the next 24 hours.

* Please note: Your tan will continue to develop even after showering, so don't be alarmed if you’re not quite as tan as you expect to be.

• Use a non-abrasive body wash so that the tan is not stripped away.
• Keep skin well-moisturized and hydrated following your treatment.
• Take short baths or showers. Soaking in hot water can fade your tan. 
• Chlorine from pools and hot tubs can cause your tan to fade faster.
• Do not use a loofah or exfoliate to preserve the life of your tan. 
• Applying a tanning extender can prolong your tan for up to 2 weeks.

Your tan should look fresh for up to a week, and can last for up to two weeks.

No! Spray tans do not contain any sunscreen, and therefore do NOT provide any protection from the sun's rays. Please make sure to always use sunscreen if you'll be outside or in the sun.

These days spray tans are formulated to counter orange undertones. Just like makeup foundations, your spray tan is customizable to match your skin and meet your tan goals. If you’re new to spray tanning, consider starting with a lighter shade and building up with color-enhancing products.

DHA (dihydroxyacetone) — the active ingredient in all sunless tanners — is a colorless, natural, plant-derived compound that has been FDA-approved since the 70s for external application. Diva Glo features only eco-certified  DHA solutions.

Travel fees are calculated at a rate of $1 per mile, measured by the distance from the original location (Davie, FL) to the appointment location. This is an additional fee that is added to the spray tan cost. You will be quoted the total cost of the spray tan + travel fee prior to your appointment.

For every new client you refer who books (and receives) a full-priced tan, you will receive one free spray tan to be used whenever you choose. We love referrals!
